Birds and Blooms

Sometimes it’s nice to walk with no destination in particular in mind. I found myself doing just that over the weekend and was reminded that our quiet corner in the country holds many simple pleasures with its birds and blooms.

We are nestled in the foothills of Mt. Sunapee, and we have a view of the some of the windmills on the hill in the neighboring town. On this day, there were a few clouds, but the windmills were clearly visible standing like sentinels over-looking the valley.
