The beginning of a new year…a time to think about the past year and to make plans for the new year ahead. There were more opportunities for some outstanding photos in 2012 with our trips to Arizona, Cape Cod, Thailand and Italy, as well as outings in our beautiful state of New Hampshire.  Participating in a juried regional show, being accepted into a juried artisan’s association, having my work sell at a nearby gallery and in shops in New Hampshire…all of these things plus the support of friends, family and clients made 2012 a wonderful year for me and my photography!

The addition of another Canon camera to my backpack will, hopefully, keep me inspired to catch the perfect light! There are so many places to explore, so many photo ops and with a new year ahead, I can’t wait to get started!

Happy New Year, Everyone!

  1. Karen, Your photography is beautiful! I have reblogged this post to my blog. I grew up in Lebanon and love the mountains of NH. Spent many weekends at Lake Sunapee. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. ~Joyce
