Autumn Comes to New Hampshire

With Open Studio Tours behind me, it gave me a chance to get out and shoot some of the fantastic foliage we’ve had this year. Day trips to Vermont and Southwestern New Hampshire were a pleasant way to recharge after the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the studio tours. We weren’t disappointed in the foliage last week as we followed Route 9 from Hillsborough toward Keene taking back country roads which intrigued us. What a great way to discover new places!

We even found a restaurant in Peterborough where we stopped for lunch- they use local products- which will go on our “favorite places to eat” list for the next time we’re in that area.

After spending many hours going through and post-processing the pictures (almost 300), it’s back to business once again. Tomorrow I will drop off some of my handcrafted pendants, note cards and fine art prints to the Library Arts Center in Newport, NH for this year’s “Gallery of Gifts” juried event that I participate in each year. The work will continue as I make more pendants for the Christmas at the Fells Boutique. Christmas will be here before we know it, and the recent weather with unexpected “snow showers” was an unwelcome reminder! Enjoy the remainder of your autumn!
