Cape Cod Weekend

Sometimes even a three-day getaway to not-so-faraway destinations are enough to recharge the spirit! So it was this past weekend…meeting and catching up with old friends on Cape Cod, eating fresh, delicious seafood, and visiting new places like Fort Hill in Eastham

The Fort Hill district near Eastham and Nauset has scenic walking trails and is a nice place to catch the sunset.

or stopping at a small roadside pond to quickly shoot some photos of swans certainly lifted my spirits! Bring on that cold weather; I’m ready!

A tiny pond we happened upon as we left the Cape afforded a brief stop to admire the swans.

  1. Lovely pictures! I’ve wanted to visit Cape Cod ever since a good friend of mine recommended it as a travel destination. Your photos have moved it up a few places on my list of places to visit in this lifetime. Thank you for sharing!
